Scorched

I walk through a scorched glade, I leave my footsteps in the ash. The trees have decayed and The memories hit like a whiplash, The forest that's been here Is burnt to the ground by mistakes, But feelings I cherished I'll get back, whatever it takes. Please leave me be, the grey of world, I am so tired of what i'm through. The warmth and love are changed by cold, Or haven't i changed enough for you? I'm sure i became Such a person i wanted to be, Still i can not pull out The root of the sorrow in me. You might disbelieve, But i'm trying the hardest i can. And i'm not loosing faith That i'll ever be happy again.
