The Abandoned in the Dark

I'm the abandoned in the dark I'm staying silent staying stark My eyes are hunting for the light But I'm so pleased to be forgotten I'm waiting here to greet the Sun I'll be the first to cast a shadow I'm waiting here to greet the Sun I'll be the first to cast a shadow My soul is dry my mind is bruised My hands are weakened by the truth My eyes just caught a distant glow Oh how I'm pleased to be forgotten I'm waiting here to greet the Sun I'll be the first to cast a shadow I'm waiting here to greet the Sun I'll be the first to cast a shadow I'm waiting here to greet the Sun I'll be the first to cast a shadow I'm waiting here to greet the Sun I'll be the first to cast a shadow
