FALLEN STAR

Torn away from heaven's skies. Afraid to fall, afraid to land. You saw the truth behind their eyes, And reached for dreams with trembling hands. You watched the world in silent grace. You couldn't turn or look away. You hoped that love would find a place, And bring the night a brighter day. The fallen star of love Above, still shining bright while Slowly falling. You dreamed that someone up Above would see your light, would Hear your calling. You never faded, you Forgave, and changed the dark With light you gave. Through frozen clouds, through endless night, You burned for hearts that couldn't see. Your glow became their hidden guide. A wish for love, a memory. Though silence wrapped the world in Pain, you kept on shining From afar. And in their dreams, your warmth remained, A gentle, fallen, faithful star. A fallen star of love Above. You never ceased, you kept on Glowing. You gave your fire, gave your love To hearts that never saw it Showing. You're still alive in skies Above. The fallen star. The light of love.
