I Still Cling to the Old Rugged Cross

As a child back in Sunday school, I learned this simple truth. Jesus died to take my sins away. And I can still remember when He changed my Life way back then, and the cross is just As real to me today. I still believe in the power of the blood Jesus shed on Mount Calvary. And I still hold to the hope that He's Gone to prepare a dwelling place for Me. And I still cling to the promise That there is still forgiveness for the lost. I still believe, I still hold, And I still cling to the old rugged Cross. Some may say I'm old enough to stand without Holding His hand. But with each passing day, I need Him More. For He's become my everything, And that's the reason why I cling to Calvary And all the cross stands for. I still believe in the power of the blood Jesus shed on Mount Calvary.
