A Long Time Ago

A long time ago on this earth, A virgin gave birth to a heavenly Babe. And there on that glorious night, The hope of the world was given the Light. For God sends us His Son, our Savior, the Promised One. And the angels in heaven sang loud o'er the Manger in Bethlehem long, long ago. Shepherds asleep on the ground woke up to the Sound of angels on high. They said to the shepherds, "Don't fear, We have wondrous news the whole world must Hear. Behold, a King has come, Our Savior, the Promised One." In wonder the shepherds bowed low in the Manger in Bethlehem long, long ago.
