A Place That's Home

A cross that stands so grand Old. Where winners take their place. And colors bloom all on the Streets. They grow to win the Race. Far away from here I have to part. To where my heart leads on. And I will come back when I've grown. To live the life I've known. The lights, they guide you to the bridge where Love runs through. A place that we pass by. Long I've been here and now I have to Go away from this land, a place that's Home. This one is all I know. The time has passed and tears Shed. By friends who wave farewell. Returning to these roads I've Known. Stories I'll have to tell. My spirit has yearned for my home. To be once more where I belong. And none compare to this old Town. I've been here, old and young.
