I feel like we kings but we got lost. On the road to forever paths didn't cross. Gathering moss for my family tree. When I have a son, be a better man Than me. We all plan to be lawyers or Doctors or firefighters. Broken dreams inside our lighters to smoke the pain Away. I stopped when I was 16. 'Cause health class used to show us all these Sick things. How your lungs turn black and I Don't need that. There's life outside of death, Most don't believe in that. Just an illusion, a war that we losing. I'd rather be midnight interstate cruising. Yeah, I'd rather be cruising. Yeah. Wouldn't you? I thought so. When I feel like I'm losing it all. I know you wouldn't let me fall. Take my flaws, let 'em flow down the stream While I sing.
