It's Not Easy Letting Go

It's not easy letting go. When you love somebody so. It's not easy letting go. Oh, the road is long and slow. The pain is real. Only time can heal. It's not easy Letting go. As I sit here on my bed, thinking about The things we've said. I can't imagine what went wrong with our direction. How we made it through the years. God knows we shed some tears. But we also had some good times in the Meantime. It might be hard, but I gotta move on With my life. I can't keep looking back At the misery and strife. I do the best I can, But my heart still needs to mend. It's not easy Letting go. Yesterday we played the game. Nothing lost and nothing gained. How could we let our emotions rule our hearts? Thinking about the mistakes we made. Honey, we almost made the grade. It was our season, but now it's over. It's not easy letting go. When you love somebody so. It's not easy letting go. Oh, the road is long and slow. The pain is real. Only time can heal. It's not easy Letting go. Ooh, ooh. It's not easy Letting go. Mm, It's not easy Letting go.
