Never In Public

Baby, you'll meet me any place I say, But Never in public. No, you don't want it that way, no, Never in public. Now, regardless to how you feel, still don't think It's right for you to be ashamed of me In the day and wanna love on me at Night. I ain't the kind you wanna be seen With, never in public. But you'll wait two hours in an alley for My kind of love. Never in public Will you kiss and hold my hand. You're ashamed to let the whole world know you're My loving man. If you're ashamed of me in the daytime, Ooh, you don't wanna be seen with me in The light, Then I'm gonna get you off of my mind. Yes, I am, And stop meeting you in the dark alleys of Life. I found me another man, just too good to Be true. He even loves me, baby, Yeah, so much better than you. He takes me with him everywhere he goes, Tell everybody I'm his girl. He's not ashamed to be with me, and I'll Love him 'til the end of the world. Never in public is he ashamed to hold my Hand and let the whole world know that he's My loving man. Never in public did he walk ahead of me. He keeps me by his side. Ooh, he's sweet as he can be. Never in public, no, never in public. Never in public, baby, never in public. Don't wanna be seen with me in public. Don't wanna talk to me. Hold my hand. Yeah. That's all right.
