Yeah. This ain't a complaint. This is just truth. My truth. World divided into pieces, some get cake, some get Crumbs. Some make hundreds in a day, some make That in months to come. Some got time to think and grow, feed their Mind and feed their soul. Some just think about Today, how to eat, survive the cold. Somewhere bread is thrown away, too much food, too Full to care. Somewhere mothers split one loaf, Three kids hungry, one small prayer. Somewhere doors swing open wide, "Welcome, sir, come Right inside." Somewhere doors are slamming shut, "You're not from here, wrong place, goodbye." Like that movie about time, seconds ticking on your Wrist. Decide how long you breathe, decide if you Exist. Some are born with centuries, with decades, Years to spend. Some are born with seconds, running Fast until the end. Because this is life, nobody chose where they were Born. Because this is life, fire that will make you Or will burn. Because this is life, lies and truth and pain And rise again. Because this is life, we're all just passing Through, my friend. This is life, this is life. I ain't reading this from books, I carry this Inside my bones. Worked the nights for pennies, Slept in places cold as stone. Garbage trucks and basement floors, my degree was in My bag. But I'm immigrant, I'm foreign, positions Filled, too bad. Remember days, one set of clothes Through summer, fall, and snow. Remember meals, just Bread and water, that's the only thing I know. Remember nights, one bag, one street, no money, Nowhere left to go. Homeless, nameless, but alive, You understand I didn't fold. I don't complain to who for what, the world Is what it is. I don't blame, blame who For what, I fight my war, I live. This ain't injustice, it's just reality we face. Who understands survives, who don't, they stay in That dark place. Because this is life, Nobody chose where they were born. Because this is life, fire that will make you Or will burn. Because this is life, lies and truth and pain And rise again. Because this is life, we're all just passing Through, my friend. Yeah, Yeah, yeah. Listen close, life is fire where they forge you Or they melt you. Life is lies where they Trick you and deceive you. Life is graves where they bury what you used To be. Life is light where you finally find What set you free. But one truth remains untouched. We are mortal. All of this is temporary. King and beggar, same ending. Everything you hold, you're leaving. And when you really understand it's not as words, But as your blood, your air, You stop being afraid. You start to live. People look at me and think I'm soft because I'm kind. Treat everyone the same, they think I'm Weak inside my mind. They laugh, they mock, they Disrespect, think I'm a fool. But I walked through hell and kept my heart, That's not a weakness, that's a jewel. My past ain't shame, it's proof I made it Through the storm. I didn't beg, I didn't break, I fell and disappeared, reborn. Some will never understand and that's okay, it's not For them. My story is my story, I wear It like a gem.
