Lady Autumn (Cover Version)

On a carpet Sound of leaves In a simple dress Made of crepe de Chine, gift of Summer breeze. In a lane the lady autumn Danced across the balls. Sunny day flew away, The saxophone sang her sleigh. And the people from the near street Came to join us. And the birds flew over all Nearby roofs. And they clapped their wings applauding to The golden dancer. Oh, how long so long ago The music was playing there. So often I see a dream, amazing, Wonderful dream. The autumn dances across the balls in sunny gleam. And leaves are floating and still, A disc of spinning vinyl. Don't go away, please stay with me 'cause you're My will. So often I see a dream, amazing, Wonderful dream. The autumn dances across the balls in sunny gleam. Oh, oh, oh, play on. The old house that fell in love with his Own youth again. Drunk with happiness, forgetting all These years that passed. Opened wide all of the windows, Dancing to the rhythm. Everyone who lived in Could feel that wonder within. When the music stopped, the silence Turned the streetlights on. What goes up that must come down in Every story. And the raindrops fell from Lady Autumn's lovely eyes. Such a beautiful time Is slowly fading away.
