The Creator of worlds

All my life, I've built new Worlds. Never learned to live in mine. I've always known I don't belong. I've dreamed of leaving all this time. There I was a hero and a heartbreaker, Racing on a wild and mighty steed. Handsome, never ugly, lost in lust and wine. Exactly everything a man could need. Every lady looked upon me kindly. Every villain fled when I appeared. My treasury was vast beyond all measure, Locked as tightly as a maiden's virtue sealed. I conquered worlds and conquered nations, Feasted while I slaughtered all my foes. I was a little strange to everyone, But that was why the fools fell in love. And I could have lived that way forever, Knowing neither sorrow nor regret. Bathing in desire and drowning in wine, Until another life brought all the pain back, Yes. All my life, I've built new Worlds. Never learned to live in mine. I've always known I don't belong. I've dreamed of leaving all this Time. Yeah. The monitor blinked, then darkened, Then went black. How many days had I gone without sleep? The weakness in my body brought me back to Earth. The old chair's creak revealed the truth to Me. My imaginary world came crashing down, And now a long procession lies ahead. Sleep, pills, and trips to the bathroom. The same dull misery repeated every day. All my life, I've built new worlds.
