Better Than Chocolate

Neon signs are flashing on the dash. We're moving fast, a momentary Flash. The city sleeps, but we are wide awake. This is a risk that I am glad we Take. Your hand is resting on the leather seat. My heart is syncing to the rhythm beat. Driving through the midnight with you. In a world of violet and blue. We don't need a destination now. Just fulfill this silent sacred vow. Let the engine hum a Lullaby. Underneath the electric purple sky. The radio is playing something new. A story that has never been Retold. You look at me, the street lights in your Hair. There is no other place but here and there. Forget the world, forget the morning light. We own the shadows of this velvet Night. Speeding up. Slowing down. Just us in this town. Driving through the midnight with you. In a world of violet and blue. We don't need a destination now. Just fulfill this silent sacred vow. Let the engine hum a lullaby. Underneath the electric purple sky.
