I AM PERSONA NON GRATA (Acoustic)

I am Persona non grata On the blacklist, my mark I won’t blend with the crowd In their monotone grey Rather miss out on all Than just fade in decay Being real without you That’s my brand new style By someone else’s rules I won’t live anymore Walking silent and cold On the glass on the floor Cut the radio signal Rip the wires away! We are strangers from now on Period. Done. Castaway! I am Persona non grata! Blacklisted, branded and dark! That’s my only reward Neither friend nor a foe No joke of a loss left to show I am Persona non grata! Like a tight-laced corset Half-sung tune in my chest Coins of death on my eyelids Yet my spine stands the test Let your judgment fly high Let the blame fill the air I have taken the lesson Ended all that we share Slanted shadows fall down On the wet city street I won’t rescue an ember That has lost all its heat! Signal lost in the air! The transmission is dead! Let your counterfeit world paint itself bloody red! Through the static and noise, through the white-out decay I will crush all your armor and sweep it away! Not a fear in my chest, not a step in defeat Watch the s all burn in this furious heat! I am Persona non grata! Blacklisted, branded and dark! That’s my only reward Neither friend nor a foe No joke of a loss left to show I am Persona non grata! Not a curse, this is freedom! Not a price, but a spark! Out of anyone’s cage I will tear through the dark! With no guilt, no way back I AM PERSONA NON GRATA!
