Coincidences

I expected nothing from this life. No news, no grace coming my way. I lived as if I were asleep, and I No longer dreamed of anything at all. Coincidences kept rushing past me, Swerving and racing like a driver at a rally. I never waited for miracles, never dreamed, And then a chance encounter. A chance encounter! And by chance, you crossed my way, and by Chance, you handed me flowers. You said something softly, smiling, sweetly admiring Something in me. Coincidences kept rushing past me, Swerving and racing like a driver at a rally. I never waited for miracles, never dreamed, And then a chance encounter. A chance Encounter. By chance you appeared. By chance disappeared. But suddenly I felt alive. With you Or without. With you Without. Coincidences kept rushing past me, Swerving and racing like a driver at a rally. I never waited for miracles, never dreamed, And then a chance encounter. Well, what's done is done, but I came alive. Those flowers had withered, but I began to bloom. Well, what's done is done. I expected no miracles, but a miracle happened, And I began to bloom. La, la. bloomed. bloomed.
