Through the Hush Below

O lumen carry me slow Through the hush below Ash on the stone cool under my hand A bowl of clear water a far off land You turn your face where the dark hills meet I follow the breath of your quiet feet Ora ora open the way Keep one small flame till the edge of day Ora ora under the sky Hold me near as the old winds pass by Reeds in the valley bend toward the stream A bell in the distance slips into dream You speak my name so faint so near The walls of the night grow thin when I hear Ora ora open the way Keep one small flame till the edge of day Ora ora under the sky Hold me near as the old winds pass by One breath for the mountain One breath for the sea One breath for the doorway You left open for me O lumen carry me slow Through the hush below
