Hug Me

Your name on my screen, like a tapped window. Two words from you, and my whole room slows. I was half asleep, then I saw that glow. Now my thumb won't move, but my heart says Go. You said you up? I said, "Yeah, I'm here." That tiny little buzz made the midnight clear. I don't need a speech, just let it land On me. One small line from you got me Weak in the knees. Late night text got me open. Late night text, now I'm hopin'. Say my name, don't keep me guessin'. Late night text turns into a blessin'. Turns into a blessin'. You type, then you stop, like you know my Pulse. Read between the dots, that silence felt so Bold. You send one more line, and I fall Right in. Acting all composed, But I can't pretend. You said, "Come through," I said, "Maybe so." Now the air in this place feels like it Knows. I ain't hard to read when it's you And me. One little "Hey," got me where I Need to be. Late night text got me open. Late night text, now I'm hopin'. Say my name, don't keep me guessin'. Late night text turns into a blessin'. La-la-la-la-la-la. One blink, one beat, and I'm back on your Mind. One line from you, and I lose track Of time. If you want me close, Don't make it a test. Just hit me again with that late night Text. Late night text got me open. Late night text, now I'm hopin'. Say my name, don't keep me guessin'. Late night text turns into a blessin'. Late text got me open. Late night text, now I'm hopin'. Say my name, don't keep me guessin'. Late night text turns into a blessin'. Oh. Oh. Late night text. Late night text.
