Autumn love

The trees undress in slow, cold Whispers. Golden coats on the ground below. I see you laughing. I see you glowing. But it's not with me, no. It's not with me. Autumn, autumn love, it's bitter, It's sweet. Like cider on my tongue, Then swept off my feet. Autumn, autumn love, it's red, It's green. Jealousy burns like a fire Unseen. The wind steals scarves and carries secrets. Your shadow lingers, but not for me. I bite my lip, the taste is sour. Counting moments, hour by hour. Autumn, autumn love, it's bitter, It's sweet. Like cider on my tongue, then swept off my Feet. Autumn, autumn love, it's red, It's green. Jealousy burns like a fire Unseen. I rake the leaves but they keep falling. I call your name, the echoes sprawling. Your love's a breeze, but I'm a storm. Cold hands longing to be warm. So warm. Autumn, autumn love, it's bitter, It's sweet. Like cider on my tongue, Then swept off my feet. Autumn, autumn love, it's red, It's green. Jealousy burns like a fire Unseen.
