Tyler Got Him A Tesla / Can’t Say I Ain’t Country Commentary

This is Big Machine Radio and I am Becca. We are here to celebrate the release of Florida Georgia Line's brand new album, Can't Say I Ain't Country. We had a chance to talk to BK And Tyler about the album, including all the songs, Get some of their perspective and maybe what was Happening when the song was being written. So sit back, relax and enjoy the album release Special for Can't Say I Ain't Country. Now, before we dive into the songs, I wanted To ask the guys, you know, what is the Thing that tied this entire album together? Because there are a lot of different feels on It, a lot of different subject matter. So was there a driving vision for this album? Everything that we put out's kind of been different, Sort of, you know, a different direction for us In a very exciting type of way. You know, we always kind of wanna give the Fans something different, a different side of who we Are. And, uh, this next album, I think the Album title really ties together, to be honest. I think there's still a lot of different sounds, A lot of different sides of who we are, A little bit of something for everybody. But for the most part, this is probably our Country-est album to date, kind of taking it back To our roots again, if you will, and, and The music that we loved growing up on, love Writing and love performing. And, uh, this is probably our most exciting album. We've poured our heart and soul into this and, And I do think it's a further evolution of Who BK and I are and the FGL sound And just the different types and styles of music That we love to create. And if you've heard any of the album yet, Then you know there are four unique skits on There by a guy named Brother Javelle. They're actually like voicemails. And so I wondered, where did Brother Javelle come From and how did he end up on this Album? So we did like four comedic skits or Voicemails that kind of segue into the next song In our album. And we're really excited about it. It's something different for us, something cool, Something a lot of other artists are doing in The urban hip hop world, but nobody's really done It in country. And how it originated was we Have a friend that we call Nugget, AKA Brother Javelle, who hits us up every now and then And leaves voicemails for us, mainly just to get A good laugh. He's got a alter ego that's Just hysterical. He's a preacher in a small church. And, uh, he always hit us up and made Us laugh. So we figured, "Hey, let's have him Do some little skits on our album and, uh, Break it up a little bit, do something different, And, uh, hopefully give a little comedic relief, If you will." So we're excited to do that, Excited to get that out there and excited for Him. He's a brilliant writer and an amazing Comedian. The first voicemail that Brother Javelle Left, it segues beautifully into the title track on The album. So guys, tell me about Can't Say I Ain't Country. So Can't Say I Ain't Country is what we Like to call just a no-brainer, just feels like A hit. It's a fun song. And you know what? At the end of the Day, BK and I are about as country as It gets, uh, regardless of, of what you may Think. We grew up in the country. We love the country. That's kind of where our Roots are from. So, uh, we've also traveled a lot and experienced A lot of things and love to evolve and Grow and become better as much as we can. But, uh, at the end of the day, you Can't say we ain't country.
