Driving Through the shadows where the cold winds softly Breathe. Every street reminds me of the things I Couldn't keep. Used to hide the sadness underneath a Bittersweet smile. Now the silence of the midnight stays with me For miles. Neon lights are dancing on the windows of my Soul. Every scar inside my body tells a story Never told. People come and leave like smoke, Disappearing in the rain. So I learned to wear the darkness like a Fire in my veins. There were nights I felt abandoned by the world I used to know. Trying to find a reason not to lose myself Alone. But the highway kept on whispering through The echo of the storm. Saying, "Broken hearts grow stronger every time they Carry on." Now the moon above the skyline feels Different than before. Every mile becomes a memory I can't ignore. And the boy who feared forever disappeared into the Night.
