Time to Dream

Synchronize your time with mine so you'll catch what I say. Spread some crumbs along the path so you won't Lose your way. Sunset sinks beneath the hill, The end of another day. The time has come for sleep again, I turn my head away. The darkness falls all around me. Once again, it has found me. I feel it start to surround me. The time has come to dream. I must hang tightly to the rope or fall Ten thousand feet. They give me a warning one more time and Then somehow they leave. I feel the shadow coming near, I feel the searing heat. I know that if I do not wake, I'll Fall beneath its feet. I see it looming above me. But somewhere somebody loves me. I feel her hand as it shoves me. The time has come to Wake.
