Let's Play!

It's Friday night, the city's awake, A pulsing beat in my veins for goodness sake Let's drop the masks, leave worries behind, A night of dance is what we will find The grown-up world can wait till the light, Hear that voice from your youth? Time to play tonight! Heart to the rhythm, the volume up high, Forgetting the rules, no need to be shy Tonight on the dance floor, we're taking the lead, With moves that are simple, a joyful deed The crowd all around is catching the wave, In laughter and joy, it's myself that I save No serious faces, no need for long words, A world of bright lights and colourful dreams The grown-up world can wait till the light, Hear that voice from your youth? Time to play tonight! Heart to the rhythm, the volume up high, Forgetting the rules, no need to be shy Tonight on the dance floor, we're taking the lead, With moves that are simple, a joyful deed Remember the old days? No ifs and no buts, The world was a movie, we had all the guts Let’s seize this moment, let's make it our own Heart to the rhythm, the volume up high, Forgetting the rules, no need to be shy Tonight on the dance floor, we're taking the lead, With moves that are simple, a joyful deed
