When God Was All I Had

When everything beneath me crumbled, Your promises Stood strong. Lord, you never said the road was easy, You only said, "Fear not, for I am with you." So if I must walk through the valley, I'll walk it holding your hand. When God was all I had, I found I needed nothing more. His grace became my daily bread. His mercy was my door. The world may measure wealth by what These empty hands once owned. But Heaven measured everything The day I called God Home. The Lord gave, The Lord has taken Away. Blessed Be the name Of the Lord.
