Half Of Me

Midnight, rain falls on my skin. Memories Keep crashing in. Every word you said still burns. Every echo still returns. I keep scrolling through the past. I was strong but didn’t last. Now my soul’s an empty sea. And you took the best of me. Half of me Still calls your name. Half of me Still feels the flame. Half of me Can’t move on. Half of me Still holds on. All your Pictures on the floor. Can’t delete them anymore. Every night I play your song. Pretend you’re not gone too long. I can’t fake that I’m alright. Lonely screen, another night. You’re the part I’ll never free. You’re the ghost that lives in me. Half of me Still calls your name. Half of me Still feels the flame. Half of me Can’t move on. Half of me Still holds on.
