Slow Sip Of Solitude

Crack in the window, Breeze slides in slow. Curtains sway like time's got nowhere to Go. Porcelain cup, Steam rising like thoughts. Each sip holds a silence The world forgot. The clock ticks soft like it's half-asleep. Outside, the city hums in shadows deep. No one calling, And that's just fine. I taste the quiet Like a glass of wine. This is my time. This is my truth. A slow sip of solitude, Aged like youth. Let the night fall, Let the stars bloom. I'll drink my stillness In this quiet room. Reflections dance in the amber glass. A moment here I wish could Last. No need for noise, no need for Light. My company's this hush of night. I'm not alone, Just far from the race. Finding peace in an empty Space. This is my time. This is my truth. A slow sip of solitude, Aged like youth. Let the world spin, Let the day fade. Here in the hush, I softly stay. Just one more sip, Then maybe sleep.
