Shadow

Fingers trace the edge of fire. Chasing sparks that never tire. Ashes whisper, secrets blur. In the flames, my thoughts concur. Every ember tells a tale. Rising high, then doomed to fail. Smoke, it curls, it twists, it bends. Burning starts but never ends. Burn it bright, let it sting. Feel the scorch, let freedom ring. Turn to ashes, turn to dust. In the blaze, we place our trust. Shadows dancing, fevered glow. Truths ignite where lies don't go. Scorch the sky, no turning back. Fuel the fire, cut the slack. Sparks collide, they never sleep. Secrets buried, promises keep. Flames are wild, they'll take their due. Burn it all, the old and new. Burn it bright, let it sting. Feel the scorch, let freedom ring. Turn to ashes, turn to dust. In the blaze, we place our trust.
