One Step

We touch the sky, then hit the ground. No sign of you, not one small sound. Your name still burns behind my lips. But silence pulls me down and slips. One step, No trace. One word, No face. One step, No trace. One word, No face. I count the stars but lose the night. You took the day, you stole the light. Your name still burns behind my lips. But silence pulls me down and slips. One step, No trace. One word, No face. One step, No trace. One word, No face.
