Land of Lies

Did you send me into the world to share And preach the Word of holy life? The question follows me every night and day And finally I see the sign We can learn to love again And He’s waiting for you to call on Him and pray Keep your life free from vanity Set your minds on things that are above and say: I wanna leave it all! Good bye the land of lies I choose another way (I’m gonna leave it all) The land is in eternal night I cannot take the pain I’m gonna leave it all! Cruelty and faintheartedness Took the throne of the human world Oh, Father, You gave me forgiveness But I don’t deserve to be yours We can learn to love again And He’s waiting for you to call on Him and pray Keep your life free from vanity Set your minds on things that are above and say: I wanna leave it all! Good bye the land of lies I choose another way I’m gonna leave it all! The land is in eternal night I cannot take the pain I’m gonna leave it all Good bye the land of lies I choose another way I’m gonna leave it all The way to eternal night There will be no mourning, crying and pain
