Love and Anger

I cried a lot, and I begged a lot, And I blamed a lot. I could not give it up. Then we talked a lot. I questioned a lot. Tried to save a lot, 'til I gave It up. Now it went from love to anger, And from anger to love, from sorrow to Relief, and back to nursing my grief-stricken heart. Stricken heart. We didn't laugh a lot, didn't kiss A lot, didn't plan for a lot. I guess we just forgot to love a Lot, 'til our bodies ached with all our hearts Could take. And it's those mistakes we make that take us From love to anger, and from anger to love. From beauty to pain, and back to beauty again, And again, And again. Oh, and I can't believe how I failed at This, and I just can't believe how I Was so wrong. But it's such a fine line between what have Here and what we had. Or did we ever have? And now I drink a lot. I go out a lot. I make out a lot, 'cause it's all that I've got to Feel a lot. Feel what I do not really feel at All. Feel at all. Oh, oh, oh.
