My fears speak to me when I am silent. They know my sleepless nights. They know where it hurts, where it bleeds, Where even words no longer dare to come. I've learned to smile in public, To cry alone in the dark, to pretend to Be strong When my heart's screamed too late. My fears follow me every step of the way. They whisper that I won't make it. But deep inside me, a stronger voice reminds me That I am not alone. Hear my fears tell me, "Step back again." But my faith tells me, "Move forward. Believe."
