There was a sound once. Now it's gone. Cold light resting on the walls. No reflection when it falls. I remember something real. Now I barely seem to feel. Every shadow moves too slow. Like a place I used to know. All the words we left behind Turned to static in my mind. You were closer than the air I breathed. Now you're just a space I cannot reach. In the silence, I remain.
