You know, I have listened to this new album From The Cadillac Three probably a dozen times by Now, and I cannot get enough. It's called Tabasco & Sweet Tea. This is their album release special, and we're going Track by track, talking to the guys and asking Them, you know, what is the story behind each Song. And the next one is Head Over Wheels. Jaren, I know you wrote this one. And it was kind of interesting, because I first Just listened to the album, and then I went Back and read all the lyrics and listened. But at first listen, I almost missed what this Song was about, because I mean, it's, it's pretty Cleverly written. So tell people about Head Over Wheels. I was in the middle of literally trying To figure out how to write every song as A body of work to make this whole record Cohesive, which we'd never done. Like I said, I still think that that's the One thing, if I can say about our band, I love pretty much everything about our band, and I stand true by our band. But I think the one thing we haven't done Is make cohesive records. And it, 'cause it's really hard to do in Nashville. It really is. So I was trying to make everything fit together, And I'm I'd watched, uh Kelby and I had Watched the Eagles documentary on the front of the Bus. And Joe Walsh, man, so rad. Like, his guitar playing is so rad. I was like, I, I need to put something In this thing that has that kind of Life In the Fast Lane kind of thing. But then I need to turn it towards funk, You know? And so that's what Head Over Wheels Was. And so I did that riff. Usually for this whole record it was all Riff-oriented first, and drums. And then I just sat there with whoever was In the room, any of these guys or Songwriter, Whoever it was, and we tried to put together Something that made sense to go with everything Else, but also just be kind of cool and Clever. And I thought that the head over wheels Thing was kind of neat. And then I got to the end of the Chorus, and I was like, "I'm pretty sure that Pistol Annies had a song called Head Over Wheels" Or yeah. And so I stopped, I had recorded The first verse and first chorus. And I opened up it Google and I Googled It, and it was Hell on Hills. Hell on Wheels. No, Hell on Hill. It had hills. Hills. It's girl. Oh, Hell on Yeah, that's right. And so I was like, "In the clear." And so I kept going and wr-wrote it. And, and tying in the Cadillac thing was it Works for us, just because I, I love Cadillacs Obviously. It's true. But anyways, that's kind of Where, where my mindset was when, when I was Doing that, and I just kind of put the Pieces together really quickly. Well, and obviously the Cadillac is a metaphor. But I mean, you had so much detail about This specific car in this song. So have you ever seen a Cadillac like that? Or were you just kind of dreaming up the Most badass Cadillac you could think of in your Mind? You're tying it to a girl. So some cars you look at and they remind You of girls, really sexy girls. And when I look at a really stout Cadillac Or, or something like that, an old car that Just has things that you're just like, you're moved By, that makes me think of a really sexy Woman. Got it. Well, this is Head Over Wheels From The Cadillac Three's new album, Tabasco & Sweet Tea.
