And this next song is called Tennessee, And Jaren, you wrote this one all by yourself, And it kind of sounds like something you may Have written when you were away from home. Actually, no. I mean, I wrote it right when I got home from a long stint. I think we'd come back from Europe or somewhere, I can't remember, and I just kind of sat Down and I was itching to write, and I Had this new amp and that guitar and I Was kind of a riff thing, and I was Just like... I was really into kind of the moment of When you do get home, those things that happen, And it's like so exciting. You're so excited. I haven't been home so long. You know, you Want to see your best friend. And at the time it was... I guess I was listening, I'd just listened to Sturgill's record on that flight home or something, The, his newest record, and I was like, "Man, I gotta play this for Evan as soon as I get home." And so we did, and we Got drunk on wine or whatever, you know. And I kind of just told that story of How that is, you know. Obviously we wear the Fact that we're from Tennessee pretty, uh-Heavily. I have a T-I have a Tennessee shirt On just for you people that can't see. While we're talking about your wife, I wanted to Ask you, you posted a video, and this was A while ago. Uh, you guys were going out On a date night. You were jamming out to Bruno Mars in a, in a car. That's my new truck, man. I love it. You already have the challenge of being a musician On the road, being gone all the time. Um, now you've obviously got the added Responsibility of Jude. So talk to me about the importance of date Nights, making sure that you are consciously doing Things to sort of take care of your relationship. Yeah, I mean, that night was, a hilarious night Because it was the first night Evan had been Out since we had Jude. So we went to f-I mean, we had A big night out. We went to Firefly for Dinner, but we also, you know, she drank like Probably a bottle of wine by herself, and I Had just a little bit 'cause I was driving, Being responsible dad. But we got in the truck, Man, and that was a very special night because When you have a kid, you still need to Get out and you still need to go be You And release those demons. You know, like, 'cause Evan and I have some Pretty notorious stories of kind of closing some Bars down in this town. We're not invited back To a lot of them. Um-But, you know, I, I think that's important. We, we still try to flex that muscle a Little bit and get out there when we can. Um, I'm actually taking her to see Bruno in Louisville in September, so we're excited about That. Oh, I'm so jealous. Well, enough about Bruno Mars.
