Hey there, I'm Becca. We're walking through all the Tracks on Bury Me in My Boots. And you know, Jaren Johnston says he was looking To add some tempo to the Cadillac Three's new Album when he co-wrote Party Like You. I wrote Party Like You with a couple buddies Of mine, Jimmy Robbins and, uh, John Knight maybe, I think. And, um, same two guys I ironically Wrote Beachin' with, uh, if that tells you anything About that day. But this song's more like a, Um, it's another one of those ramjam approaches Where we needed something fast for the set, And, um, the original version was not like we Took it. We took it and made it more Of a Cadillac thing. I put that riff on It, and, uh, I, I like this song a Lot. It's, it's not our favorite, I don't think, But we, we, we play it occasionally, And it's a crowd favorite, definitely. I tell you, you gotta love Jaren's honesty. The fact that he'll tell you, "This isn't one Of our favorite songs on the album, but we Know the fans love it." This is Party Like You on Big Machine Radio.
