Have a feeling there's gonna be a lot of Censoring going on 'cause this is a family-friendly Show regulated by the FCC. So, um, I'll paraphrase the title, Money Ain't Crap, only that's not what the title Is. So try to tell people what this song is About. James McNair, we were writing, and I was Like, "Some days you wake up and you wanna Write something for somebody else, and some days you Wake up and you wanna write something for us." And, uh, in that particular moment, I-Can you Guess which one it was? Yeah. So I went, ba-dum-bum, bum-bum, ba-da-da-da, Chika-donna, da-da-da-da. And I was like, "Man, I Have this title, Money And James McNair's actually a Good dude to do this with because he can Kind of fall in wherever you need him to Be lyrically. Mm. Like, he's pretty good at that. And so we sat back there and wrote that Thing, and then we literally left for... I guess we went to Europe a couple days After that, and I finished the demo in a, A hotel room in Amsterdam. And so I was in the hotel room in Amsterdam going, "Money ain't with a blanket over my Head with a little tiny, that little Apogee Mic And phone. the next to us going, "If you Hate..." And so you're trying to be quiet, but you're Doing it. so that's why the guitar solo on This song is not a guitar. It's me going, ba-doo-boo-boo, ba-doo, ba-doo, Doo-doo, doo-doo. So it was too good, and we didn't wanna Change it. So we literally took all that and, And made it on the record. And actually, Scott Borchetta, our label president, dear friend of ours, When I sent him the record, he was like... And you never know how this is gonna go. Like, "Hey, we did this." 'Cause it's not the way it goes in Nashville Normally. And Scott, two songs in, He's like, "Oh my God, I'm two songs in. Like, I love it," you know, all this stuff. And then he hits me and he goes, "You Got that Lamborghini, but you got no bikini in That shotgun seat." And he, he texts me back this line, and He's like, "This is so good." You know, like, it's so fun to hear that, You know, kind of back from your guy. You know, the guy that you lean on. And so it w-it's a lot of fun. That song to me, Kelby thinks it slams the Hardest as far as-Slams the hardest. I think the riff is great. It's the funkiest. Extremely hard to play live, but we're gonna get It. I like it. I like it just 'cause We kinda call out all the things that we All want but that the three of us, we Have. You know what I mean? And we got A little bit of money, but it's like, take All that away. It ain't, it ain't nothing if You don't have the real thing. So I think that song kinda-If That song Honestly is probably the best love song on the Record if you think about it. No, I wouldn't disagree. I mean, you wouldn't know It from the title because I can't even say The title, but this is one of the songs Off Tabasco and Sweet Tea, the new album from The Cadillac Three, which is available now.
