Turn The Radio On Commentary

So many great songs on the new album from The Cadillac Three, Tabasco and Sweet Tea. And after you listen to this, go listen to It again. It's available on any streaming platform, Any download platform. I have already worn it out already, and it's Barely been out, but it's so good. And the next song that we are gonna talk About is Turn the Radio On. And Jaren, you wrote this one by yourself, And I couldn't help but think of like Seinfeld And the airing of grievances. I wrote this on the back of the bus By myself, just frustrated in the times that we're In and what I've seen. And it's... I guess it's a little bit of The punk rock. It's not like a mean thing. It's a funny thing, because I'm friends with most Of the guys that I was singing this to. Like Nate Deaton, he's one of my dear friends. These radio guys that like, they get pushed in So many ways, almost harder than a lot of Artists do, and it's not fair for them, And it sucks. I think this thing was just a funny thing For them to have. I don't expect them to play it. Th-the thing on the end of it is My favorite, because it's like, it's the truth. "Well, that was a Cadillac Three-Oh it's 3:00 AM." "It's 4:00 AM." Yeah. I don't know if we're gonna hear that Again. It's so-We make, make that joke. Like every record we finish, there's, There's a couple songs that we're like, "Oh, maybe That could be like a country radio single." You know? And we'll, and we'll be joking about It, and then we'll be like, "Yeah, it's Wichita And it's 4:00 AM, and that was The Cadillac Three, and that was, uh..." I get it, man. Like, look at it. Like, they're doing their job. They're providing for their family. They're good people. We're friends with all these People, all these radio PDs, MDs, And ADs, and how many Ds you count. Ds you got. Cadillac Ds, you know? DD. But I, it was kind of just more Like something for my friends at radio to listen To and laugh, more than a middle finger. You know what I mean? Now, Sabbath on Cornbread, That's a middle finger. Well, we will get to that one next, but First, let's go ahead and play Turn the Radio On on Big Machine Radio, new from The Cadillac Three.
