Slide Commentary

The Cadillac Three's Bury Me in My Boots. It's finally available, their brand new album. We're celebrating by playing all the tracks off the Album, and I gotta tell you, this next one May be one of my favorite songs off the Album. It's kinda sexy. They sorta use a metaphor of a guitar for A woman. Jaren Johnston explains Slide. Slide's a song that, um, we wrote on the Back of the bus, um, like a lot of These songs, and it's one of those things of Me trying to recreate that thing that I just Loved about, uh, Ram Jam and Black Betty. And we've been trying to do it since the Beginning of this band, and it's, you know, it's, Sometimes you feel like you nail it and sometimes You don't. I feel like we got really close With this, and I was just then learning how To play slide guitar, and so we kinda based The story around comparing a woman to a guitar And a slide to your hand and stuff like That. So it was a lot of fun. Just listen to the lyrics. It's a pretty cleverly Written song. It's called Slide off the Cadillac Three's brand new album, which is available now, And it's on Big Machine Radio.
