Drunk Like You Commentary

That slide, new music from the Cadillac Three as We celebrate the release of their new album, Bury Me in My Boots. Hey there, I'm Becca, and You know what's interesting? As many songs as the Cadillac Three writes, they say sometimes we just Know a song is either one that's meant for The Cadillac Three or it's one that we should Just give away to somebody else to record. But maybe they don't always know, because Jared Admits there was one song in particular on this Album that they actually wrote and thought, "This may not be for us," and they started To think about giving it away. Drunk Like You, uh, we wrote that also on The back of the bus. Jesse Fraser. Yeah, buddy of ours named Jesse Fraser. Um, and we were, to be honest with you, We didn't see it as a Cadillac Three song At the time. The demo that we did was More, like, modern country-esque. I don't know how you say. A lotta, a Lotta digital stuff going on in there, and, Uh, that's not really our vibe. And then I was playing it one night, drinking Beer on the back of the bus, and I Was like, "Man, this is, like, right around the Same kinda chord structuring that I would do for A Cadillac song." And so I asked Neil and Kelby to listen To it in, in a vein that maybe, you Know, just hear if we could do it. And we took it in the studio, man, and It came out in a way that it was, You know, more Cadillac Three than some of the Other stuff. So it, it really lucked out for Us. And, um, it's more of a commercial approach, I think, than we've ever taken before. So it's, it's, we're excited about it. I think the guys made a good choice keeping This one on the album. It's Drunk Like You On Big Machine Radio.
