Thanks for checking out the Cadillac Three's album Release special for their new album, Legacy, Which is available now. And this next song, I just love Demolition Man Because it's such a guys, guys love song with Testosterone sorta coursing through its veins. But I also sorta feel like it gives a Voice to guys who wanna express that thing to Their woman, but they don't wanna have to rely On sorta sappy hearts and flower ballads. So tell me about Demolition Man and talk about Writing this song. So we wrote like four songs The last week of tour at the end of December this past year, and that was one with Angelo. That was his title. He just kinda said, "Hey, man" Demolition Man." "Demolition Man." We were like, "All right, sure." "That's "Yeah, that's cool. That sounds badass," you Know. So you gotta figure out what it is, And then that's kinda, I guess it ended up, I don't think we were consciously doing it, but It's sorta that same thing where it's that trick Of how do you get the girl in there, You know? And-I'd recorded that riff that morning, And I just played it back on the speakers And I said, "Well, I did this this morning." We started listening, dun, dun, dun, Dun, dun, dun, dun. Yeah. Hey. You know, and Angelo kinda, you know, I think he might even be like, like, "Let Me be your demolition man," and we were like, "Hell yeah." And I remember that one-Mm-hmm the Pre-chorus we had as the chorus until we realized- I it just needed more lines, and so we Kind of ended up adding, that song kept adding Lyric to it, even though it's a pretty simple Song. Mm-hmm. For a minute it didn't really have The chorus it ended up with. Um, but I, I like that one. It's just, it's a really, it's got a driving Thing to it-Yeah we don't really have, and It is a little different. It fits really well With American Slang I think on the album, too. And the video's rad. Yeah. there's a video. Best video we've ever done, Yeah. Mario Brothers vid-it's, Oh, okay. Yeah. It's very cool. I just, I mean, to Me it just sort of felt like the type Of love song I would expect from the Cadillac Three-Oh. if I was gonna listen to one, So it was awesome. The video won't be what You expect.
