I cannot believe we are almost done listening to The Cadillac Three's new album, Tabasco & Sweet Tea. I have said it and I'll say it again, I love this album. I hope you do too, 'cause it's so good. And the last song on the album, I'll be Honest, when I saw the title, I was like, "I got nothing. I have no idea what this Song is about." So I know Jaren and Neil, You both had a hand in writing this, so Either one of you, tell people what is Sabbath On Cornbread all about? I can give you a little bit. The reason I wrote it is, like, everybody always said that Eric Church was drinking his own Kool-Aid. Eric Church is a great friend of ours, and Done wonders for us, and he-I think he's Awesome, and I love his songwriting and I love What he does. I wanted to give people... No, no, this is drinking your own Kool-Aid. Putting your own name in a song and saying, "Ain't nobody better than us," This is drinking your own Kool-Aid. And, you know, half of that is definitely us Believing it. I mean, if I had to put Us up against every other band in country music, I'd be like, "Well, look at it. You don't Even have to do the math. It's ridiculous. You know, two plus two equals two." Well, there's that side of it, and there's also The-autobiographical side of it, where he's just Talking about where we're from, who we are, What we do. Right. You know, that's what the song's about also. And then there's that part where it's like, "And Go yourself." And it's true in Nashville. Yeah, everything about that lyric is super true to Us. And if it was any other record than This record, what I love about it being the Last song instead of the first song, it would've Been the first song on any record before this Record because it is like a thesis statement to The band. And if you don't know who we Are by the fifth record- It would be the first song on that record, You know? But, but since we're on our fifth Record, it's actually, instead it's kind like, "Oh yeah, in case you forgot after this first 33 minutes of the album, this is who we Are still," you know, too. And so that's what I love about it being The last track. Sabbath on cornbread was something That somebody in the UK said to us years Ago. And it was-we sounded like Sabbath on Cornbread. that's what they thought we sounded like. And then I thought that was, we all thought That was really cool. And we were already kind Of saying country fuzz, and then they said Sabbath On cornbread, and that brought us back to the Idea of country fuzz, and then we really leaned Into that and have obviously continued to. But it was one of those things that I Love the full circle-ness of the fact that that's The last song on our fifth record when it's Something that we've been talking about for going on 10 years. It's super cool, and also it's that Thread at the end of the record that ties Back to everything that we did before, which I Think is awesome. Well, it's a cool title, And I love the fact that you guys are Just kind of taking it over the top. This is Sabbath on Cornbread. It's the last song on The Cadillac Three's new Album, Tabasco and Sweet Tea. You can get it now.
