And you know, the guys actually told me they Had considered Soundtrack for a Six Pack as the Title for the new album, but they ultimately decided On Bury Me in My Boots. But they say Soundtrack to a Six Pack is A song that was conceived one night in a Bar and brought to life with a little help Of the sound of an old '80s rock band. Jaren and I were drinking at, uh, Mercy Lounge Here in Nashville, and our buddy Ben Cashat came Up to us one night, and he's a character Out of his mind. And he came up, and He's drunk, and he's, he's like, "Man, I got A title we gotta write." And he was like, he's like, "Soundtrack to a 12-pack." Yeah, but he didn't even say it like That. He said, "This is like a soundtrack to, Soundtrack to a 12-pack night." And, and Neil looked at me, I looked at Neil, and I go, "Oh, we gotta-" Which was Kinda new. And I go, I go, "But it'd Be better if it was six-pack because not everybody Drinks like we do." And so he, he kinda... He sent me some lyric ideas, I think. And I went home and kinda put it together, And we all kinda just went back and forth On some lyrics. And I remember ripping off the Beginning of a Butthole Surfers song for the groove, And then, uh, yeah. Sorry, Butthole Surfers guys. Be flattered. Hey, at least he admits he stole it.
