White Lightning Commentary

Bury Me In My Boots, the new album from The Cadillac Three, is available now, and we are Celebrating the release by playing all the tracks Off the album. And I have to say, I Think this next song is another one of my Favorites off the album. Jaren Johnston wrote White Lightning by himself as a unique twist on the Classic act of falling in love. White Lightning. I wrote this song. I sat down and literally I was driving home In my truck, the same truck we used in The video, the big old green truck, and I Don't know, I just started hearing it in, in My head or whatever, White Lightning, and I wanted To start a song out with a really cool, Like, a cappella type thing and then tell a Story faster than this, faster than that, And it all leads into White Lightning. And you know, you, you, you fall in love. This is your classic story of me trying to Put words to a song and make a story Without just coming out and saying it, and it's, You know... I feel like we did a pretty Good job with the recording, and, uh, it's obviously A huge song for us live. I just love the groove of this song. Here comes White Lightning on Big Machine Radio.
