The South Commentary

Thanks so much for checking out the Cadillac Three's Album release special for their brand new Bury Me In My Boots here on Big Machine Radio. I am Becca, and this next song, if you Listen closely, it features a ton of the Cadillac Three's good buddies, including Florida Georgia Line, Dierks Bentley, and Mike Eli of the Eli Young Band, and this is one that goes over Huge live in concert. The South, we needed something in our set that Was, I think, more like of an epic thing. Like, I was listening to a lot of Led Zeppelin, a lot of Skynyrd, and we didn't have A Kashmir and we didn't have a, uh, Tuesdays Gone or a, you know-Sweet Home Alabama And So I just kind of sat down and kind Of wrote what I thought. And, you know, and I tried to incorporate as Many of the South states a-a-and city, Cities or ideas, you know, whatever, mentalities That, that I could, and, and I put it Down to that cool Kashmir-ish, You know, riff and stuff like that. And, uh, I don't know, man, it's, it's broken A lot of ice for us, and I think It's probably the reason where we are right now. One of my favorite things about The South, Jaren Johnston says it's always funny when they go and Play overseas, like in Europe, and they hear people Trying to sing The South with all of these European accents, and half the time they don't even Know what they're singing about, but they know they Love this song. It is The South off Bury Me In My Boots on Big Machine Radio.
