Runnin’ Red Lights Commentary

Hot damn, it's the Cadillac Three on Big Machine Radio. Hey there, I'm Becca. We are celebrating the release of their brand-new Album, Bury Me In My Boots, by playing all The tracks off the album. And you know, the Cadillac Three, they spend a Lot of time on the road, and they say Runnin' Red Lights is a song about that race To get home to see the women they love. This is a old song that I wrote, like, Forever ago, and then we reapproached it. I brought it to Neil back of the bus Again one day, and I was like, "Man, I Had this chorus," and it was such a huge Chorus, but the verses sucked. And so we kind of rewrote this story of, Like, pretty much our lives. You know, we all have significant others that wait At home a lot of the times when we're On the road. And, you know, that, that last Drive home is usually a, a real pain in The ass because you're like, you wanna get there, You know, and you're trying to get home crazy. Or maybe you're get... trying to get home to Something to, so you don't miss, like, a, a Life event or something like that. And it's, it's that mentality basically of like, You know, traveling on the road, the three of Us pretty much, and us trying to get home To our, you know, our lady friends. And it's, uh, I, it's, it's pretty cool. And h-honestly, that song and the recording I Think is gonna do, uh, some cool things for Us as far as what we don't have yet And what we haven't conquered as a band. So if you're in a situation that keeps you Away from the one you love for a time, Maybe you're in the military, or maybe you've got A job that causes you to travel, or like Me, maybe you're in a long-distance relationship, Then you probably can relate to this one. It's Runnin' Red Lights on Big Machine Radio.
