Free (A Poem) E

What's going on everybody? This is Addy. I'm about to present to you my poem called Free. It's my second time ever writing a poem and My first time ever performing it, so, you know, Bear with me, all right? All right, bro-bro, let's go. Free. Is it worth fighting for a dream that only You could see? Misunderstood, but worth mentioning In a eulogy. Only asking for peace of mind And unity. The world outside of you collide, And the answer is inside. So is it true that we can choose to Be free? Or whatever we consider that to be. Love the crease and drastically, the blind unleash The master, please. But we still need more than just a master Seed. Indoctrinated and hunting for pleasure, chasing Temporary highs you can only physically measure. Slaves to our desires, developing greed. Free? Nah. Would you agree, as I beg to differ? Scrolling on your social media feed ain't no Different from pouring that poison in your liver, if You ask me. We living to die and dying to live, and Most of us die way before we physically decease. Stuck in nine-to-five labor, ain't no seeking for Greater purpose. And the process commenced way before you could even Speak. Free? I don't think so. They done lied to you from the get-go. And even before you could talk proper, they would Shut your ass up and keep on feeding your Addictions. Unless you try to break free. Thank you. Thank you so much. God bless you.
