New Money Commentary

Fire and Brimstone is the name of Brantley Gilbert's Brand new album, which is out today, And we have the pleasure of talking to Brantley Right now. And this next song, New Money, I can almost see you with a sly grin On your face when you were writing this one With Rhett, Brock, and Brandon. Well, it's kind of tongue in cheek, kind of Just a fun song. I think we all got to talking about out-putting Our coverage and marrying up. I'm this rough dude, not very pretty, But it's like award shows when my wife shows Up. It's like she's shining, man. I'm just a guy walking with her, and I, I love that. That's kind of what that one's about. It's just my wife making me look good. You know, it's funny because there is kind of This thread that runs through this album of you Feeling like, uh, you won the lottery when you Got Amber, and maybe you did out-punt your coverage. In New Money, there's that line, "Way out of My league, don't know what she sees." And of course, Bad Boy, the whole song is Basically that idea. And then in Man of Steel, you say, "I Don't know what she sees in me." And so, uh, it seems to me like you Don't give yourself enough credit, 'cause I think if We talked to Amber, she would probably say, "You Know what? I got lucky, too, and he did Not out-punt his coverage." And I just love your relationship, and I love This song just because it is so fun. It's called New Money from Brantley Gilbert as we Celebrate his new album, Fire and Brimstone, Today.
