Bad Boy Commentary

We're playing Brantley Gilbert's entire new album, Fire & Brimstone, as we celebrate its release. It is available now, and we had the pleasure Of talking to Brantley about all the songs on The album. This next one, Bad Boy, I, I just feel like this is yours and Amber's love story in a nutshell, Basically. And what I love about the song is That despite all of your tough guy image and Your bad boy image and your bravado, It seems to me that Amber has always seen Through that. I don't know that I necessarily have To try for the rough or the bad boy Image. It kind of is what it is. And I don't know that I'm necessarily trying to Hide the softer side of me, but she and My mom are two people that have always seen That side and brought that side out. But it is word for word, every word of It's true, and almost our story in a nutshell. Well, I love the visualness of this song, 'cause I feel like I can see you talking to Her mom, and just all the scenes playing out In this song. This is Bad Boy from Brantley Gilbert and his New album, Fire & Brimstone, on Big Machine Radio.
