You know, Brantley, you've told me that this next Song, i-it's kind of about the good girls Who are attracted to the bad guys. And, and I think that probably sums up your Relationship a little bit with your wife Amber. But, you know, I, I think it takes a Strong woman to, uh, be able to, You know, deal with probably some of the overzealous Fans and the women who maybe get a little Too handsy or cross the line every now and Then. So just talk to me about having somebody Like Amber support you, stand by your side, And be with you through this journey. You know, we, we have boundaries and w-we Have to discuss certain things sometimes. I mean, like in any relationship, We have to figure out where each other's Comfortable. And, and if there is something that I'm Saying on stage or doing on stage that makes Her feel disrespected, that's something as a husband I need to consider changing, or make her understand Why I say this or why I do this. I will tell you, she's pretty funny. And she does an awesome job with it. We played one show one night, and you see How these bracelets are open-ended on the bottom? Mm-hmm. I reached down in the crowd and I Was shaking hands, or just tagging hands and stuff Like that, and I went to raise back up. It got to a point in the song where I throw both my hands up like that, and When I did, there was a pair of underwear That got... I guess some old girl pulled her Drawers off, and they got hung right there on That thing. And it looked to my wife like I was Just holding a pair of underwear up like I Was proud of them. Just, "Oh, yeah." A-and I saw it, and I was like, "Oh, my God." And she looked up at, at my head of Security, PJ, who's been with me more than 10 Years now, and he's a gentle giant, But he's, uh, he's, he's hilarious. He told me, he said, "I probably shouldn't tell You this, but I gotta tell you what she Did." He said, "You lifted up, had that hold Your arm." She, uh, looked up at him and She said, "PJ?" And he said, "Yes, ma'am?" And she said, "I'm gonna need you to take Me to the pit." Oh, no. He said, "For what?" She said, "'Cause I'm going to find that..." And he said, "No, no, no, no." So she's, uh, yeah. She's, she's tiny, but she's tough. She'll, she'll tell you if you make her mad And hurry, which I respect that about her. I, I couldn't be with somebody that was bothered By something that didn't say something. Yeah. I mean, I'm, I'm not wired that way. If somebody does something in front of me that Offends somebody I care about, or if I feel Disrespected, I'm gonna make sure they know it. I expect that out of her, and I'm proud Of her for standing up for herself. But that was, that one was pretty funny. "PJ, I'm gonna need you to take me to The pit." That is hilarious. But, you know what? I guess even good girls Have their limits, and this is for all the Good girls who like the bad boys. It's Tried To Tell Ya from Brantley Gilbert on Big Machine Radio.
