I’ve Been There Before Commentary

This is one heck of an album. 26 cuts and we're in the home stretch. We're playing you the final five demo versions of Songs that Brantley has on the deluxe edition of The album. And you know, I know that we're Telling people they're demos, and, you know, kind of Explain what that's all about. You know, 'cause they're not the cleaned up, Perfect-Studio versions. Right. Right. There's imperfections in there. And another thing that I'm proud of on this Record is that there are imperfections on the record Itself. That makes a record a record to me. Sure. It's like listening to a old Skynyrd record And you can hear, like, string slides and things That they take out these days-Yeah that stuff. Those imperfections are very much there. If I got off-key a little bit from here To there, then, uh, dress it till it's perfect, You know what I mean? Yeah. It, it's human. Gave it character. Yeah, it's real. Well, this is called I've Been There Before, another demo from Brantley Gilbert on Big Machine Radio.
