Pocket full of keys

I found a key in my coat Bent like a paper clip It opened nothing I knew Still I kept it in my fist Pocket full of keys None fit the door The bus hissed by the curb Rain on the checkout sign My phone was dead by noon But I felt rich that time Pocket full of keys None fit the door Maybe I missed the lock Maybe I missed the room Maybe the whole long road Was leading me to you Pocket full of keys Pocket full of keys One might save me One might set me free Pocket full of keys Pocket full of keys If one turns right I’ll know where I need to be You laughed at the wrong keychain Dropped your name on the floor Said every lost little thing Still wants to be found for sure Pocket full of keys None fit the door Maybe I missed the lock Maybe I missed the room Maybe the whole long road Was leading me to you Pocket full of keys Pocket full of keys One might save me One might set me free Pocket full of keys Pocket full of keys If one turns right I’ll know where I need to be I tried them all in the dark Tried them cold in my palm Then one turned with a click Like it had waited all along Pocket full of keys Pocket full of keys One might save me One might set me free Pocket full of keys Pocket full of keys If one turns right I’ll know where I need to be
